Recently, sales agent of Labthink in Pakistan, S.I.Chemicals, with its local clients, has paid a visit to Labthink headquarters in Jinan. During their stay, Labthink launched a systematic and comprehensive training course on after-sales service and newly developed instruments, as well the 2 parties mentioned held a discussion on the cooperation in the future on basis of mutual trust and benefits.

As one of the most professional agents in Pakistan, S.I.Chemicals has a good reputation among local plastic packaging enterprises, which has distributed the adhesives of Bostik, French and machinery of Sotech, China for several years. It was in 2011 that S.I.Chemicals visited Labthink for the first time, and established a close business relationship with Labthink, impressed by the world-class detection technology and professional engineers. With a review of the last year’s cooperation which sums up the gains and losses and an outlook of the planning for the further cooperation, S.I.Chemicals and Labthink held a fruitful meeting. Labthink launched a two-days training course on after-sales service and newly developed instruments, aiming to provide powerful supports and help S.I.Chemicals expand Pakistani market successfully and establish a standard after-sales system.

Accompanied and instructed by the staff of foreign trade department of Labthink, the Pakistan agent and clients visited Labthink laboratory for high barrier materials and other general materials, and during their short visit, they prepared test specimens and performed tests on OX2/230 Oxygen Transmission Rate Testing System, W3/330 Water Vapor Transmission Rate Testing System, HTT-L1 Hot Tack Tester and other classical instruments which are the achievements combined with outstanding detection technology and advanced informatization. During their short stay, S.I.Chemicals and its clients were deeply impressed with Labthink changes occurring last year, and think highly of Labthink, "You really surprise me, so many changes have happened to you, your laboratory, your instruments and your team. From May 24^thto 27^th, Mr. Fabrizio Zanchetta, CEO of Fulltech Instruments S.r.l. and Dr. Maurizio Dal Farra, Senior Manager of the company visited Labthink.

The well-prepared schedule by Labthink was highly praised by the guests. During their stay, they attended a presentation on product applications and competitive analysis as well as a series of product training. Issues on future cooperation were also discussed by the two sides.

Labthink exhibited at Analytica, 24^th International Trade Fair for Laboratory Technology, Analysis, Biotechnology and Analytica Conference, in Munich, Germany, on Apr. 1–4, 2014.

For the past four decades, Analytica has been the leading international fair for the latest laboratory technology and biotechnology. According to statistics, the number of exhibitors is 1,142 and the number of visitors is 35,384, including 12,000 international visitors from more than 40 countries.

Labthink exhibited W3/330 Water Vapor Transmission Rate Tester, OX2/230 Oxygen Transmission Rate Tester and HST-H3 Heat Seal Tester at analytic which have all attracted favorable and extensive attentions from the visitors.

In order to provide reliable and accurate test data verification service, Labthink organized The 2014 Spring Permeability Proficiency Service. The event, guided and supervised by authoritative experts of domestic packaging industry, was widely supported and participated by testing organizations and laboratories.

By June 30^th 2014, more than 120 organizations and laboratories submitted the test data. Participants involved quality inspection organizations of national, provincial and municipal level, company laboratories, third-party testing centers, and 10 laboratories from seven countries.

The event employed many different test methods and obtained abundant test data. Test methods for water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) included gravimetric method, electrolytic method, infrared method; while differential pressure method and equal pressure method were for test of oxygen transmission rate (OTR). Instruments applied were from different manufacturers, and of different models even from same manufacturers, such as Labthink, Mocon, etc. Test data thus obtained could objectively represent the domestic or even global testing capability and current testing level relating to permeability of materials.

From 16^th to 18^th April, 2014, Labthink exhibited her newly-launched W3/330 Water Vapor Transmission Rate Test System and other classical instruments in FilmTech Japan 2014, the Highly-functional Film Expo held in Tokyo.

Filmtech is the most influential event for high-functional films.Its Sponsor, Reed, is also the sponsor for FineTech, the largest event for FDP,flat panel display.

High-functional film is a key element for flat panel display, and Japanis one of the most important manufacturing base and key consumer markets for high functional films.
