Infrared detection method water vapor permeability tester is applicable in water vapor transmission rate tests for plastic film, laminated film, and packaging materials. By testing the water vapor transmission rate, users can control and adjust packaging materials' technical index to meet the different application requirements.

  3. Principal
      Clamp the sample between dry and humid constant-temperature chambers, there will be humidity difference between the two sides of the sample. This humidity gradation will cause the water vapor todiffuse from the higher humid chamber to the lower humid chamber. In the less humid chamber the water vapor is carried to the infrared sensor by carrier gas, same proportional signal will be produced. System can get the water vapor transmission rate and coefficient through analyzing the digital signal.

  5. Configuration
    • System is made up of mainframe, software, and humidity controller. Mainframe fulfills the test, humidity controller produces the test conditions.
    • Mainframe, humidity controller, nitrogen tank regulator, porous plate, sample cutter, sealing grease, software, communication cable.
    • NOTE:Test gasand distilled water should be provided by users themselves.
